Travel Information

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is located in the heart of Europe. It is easily accessible by plane, train, car or bus.

By plane

Prague is served by Vaclav Havel Airport Prague (see also), which is, together with Warsaw Chopin Airport, the busiest airport in newer EU member states. It served over 15 million passengers in 2017, expecting 17 million in 2018. More than 60 airlines provide direct flight to 150+ destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

By train

Praha hlavni nadrazi (Prague Main Station) is the largest railway station in Prague handling services to Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Serbia, Russian Federation, Ukraine and Croatia. Trains from Berlin/Dresden stop also in Praha-Holesovice station.
